Sheffield legends and Warp affiliates The Black Dog are long-standing No Bounds favourites— restless innovators who have shaped electronic music for decades. From swimming baths to peak-time dancefloors, they continually surprise us with their adaptability to whatever we throw at them as a performance challenge. Shifting between cavernous ambient soundscapes and thunderous, body-shaking bass, for 2025, they open the festival in the gothic splendour of Sheffield Cathedral with an immersive performance that will echo through its vast architecture. Deep, dubbed-out and enveloping, their set promises to reset us all and set the tone for a transformative weekend ahead.
